Dushku's a doll

The enchanting Eliza Dushku, star of Joss Whedon’s new show ‘‘Dollhouse,’’ graces the cover of the new Boston Common. The Watertown-bred actress tells the mag she’s lived in LA for more than a decade, but still considers herself a ‘‘Boston girl,’’ professing her love for the Watertown watering hole Donohue’s, the Common, the Freedom Trail, Joe Milano’s Union Oyster House, and the Charles River. Of her sexy image, she says: ‘‘I hate to sound clichéd, but I love my body. I’m not super modest. I don’t ever feel like I’ve degraded myself ... I grew up with brothers and I never thought of myself as a sexy kid. I thought of myself as a tomboy. My Mormon grandma out in Utah has always told me to wear more clothes, but then she winks at me on the side.’’ Dushku and her pal Tiffany Ortiz are hosting a party March 16 at Alibi to toast the new issue.
