We hear: Todd English, Mary Tyler Moore, Kim Raver, and more...
That chef Todd English is denying a report in the London Sun that Mary Tyler Moore beaned him with her cell phone at a pre-Emmy Awards soiree the other night. According to the tabloid, Mare was in a heated discussion with a caller when the phone “flew out of her hands,” bouncing off Todd’s head, ricocheting to poke a Target exec in the eye before finally hitting a wall. Thunk. Todd’s camp says he has “no recollection” of the head whack and thinks he may have been misidentified. Or, then again, maybe he’s concussed . . .
And that BU grad Kim Raver of “Lipstick Jungle” and “24” fame had great gams in college because someone swiped the seat off her bike so she rode around town standing up! Kim gets the Boston Common covergirl treatment in the new issue out Tuesday.
And that tonight’s “Pops on the Heights” gala at Boston College has raised a record-breaking $2.125 million for the school’s scholarship fund. The Parents’ Weekend event features a performance by Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell of “Kiss Me Kate” fame and the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra with conductor Rob Fisher.
And that Paris Hilton was expected to be in da house at The Roxy last night, where her BF, Good Charlotte’s Benji Madden, was spinning with his bro, Joel Madden, at the “Music with a Mission” event sponsored by Trojan and Double Agent.
